It sucks breaking up!

Especially when you didn't want to, and your Ex leaves you heartbroken.

Life becomes miserable, you have that empty, hurt feeling in your stomach, you don't want to eat, you can't sleep.

Everything you do, everywhere you go - everything reminds you of your ex, and the good times.

So, what do you do now? You really only have two choices.
1. You realize the breakup is for the best and you move on.
2. You're not ready to move on, you love your ex, and believe there is still hope for the two of you - so you fight to win your ex back.

If you choose option 2, there is a chance you can get your ex back, but you need to be careful and follow the proper steps, or you will drive them further away.

Maybe you can relate to my friends John and Becky.

John and Becky had been dating for 3 years, and things had been going well - or so John thought. They had talked about marriage, and their future together.

Then, Becky seemed to be getting more distant, and didn't want to spend the time with John that she did before.

One day Becky told John, that she wasn't sure the relationship was going in the right direction, and she thought they should split up for a while, to see other people and really see if they were meant to be together.

John had no doubt that they were meant to be together, but what could he do? If she didn't want to be with him, what could he do?

Reluctantly John agreed.

The next few days were just miserable for John. He went through moments of anger, moments of intense pain and moments of loneliness.

After a week or so, John became more convinced than ever that he and Becky were meant to be together, and he was going to fight to get her back.

John knew exactly what to do to win Becky back.

He sent her favorite flowers to her job. He called her voice mail and left her loving messages, he sent love poems to her email, he sent her love text messages throughout the day.

John was doing all the romantic things he could think of to show Becky how much he loved her.

After all, doing romantic things like this always worked in the movies.

Unfortunately, John's actions powered by his emotional desire to get Becky back, actually drove her further away.

Becky told me in confidence that she was miserable too, and didn't have a desire to date anyone else. She was thinking that maybe she made a mistake wanting to breakup with John.

But, John's actions really disturbed her and made her think that maybe she really never knew him at all. She was worried about his maturity and his lack of respect for her request to spend time apart.

Basically, John blew it!

Being the good friend that I am, I wanted to help John.

He's a good guy, and like John I believed he and Becky had a future together, so I decided to get him some help.

I ran into this guy, JW, online. He wrote a guide on how to properly when an ex love back.
